Nauticam WACP-1B N120 / N100 0.36x Wide Angle Conversion Port with Integrated Float Collar and Interchangeable Port Mounting Ring
The WACP-1B is a 0.36x Wide Angle Conversion Port. Unlike traditional ports or wet-mate corrective wide-angle optics, the WACP-1B is a "dry" corrective optic that modifies a 28mm equivalent lens to an extremely sharp 130º. The newer WACP-1B is smaller and lighter, and it now integrates a built-in buoyancy collar and offers a user-interchangeable port mount from N120 to N100.
FOCUS
The WACP can focus from its front element to infinity in water, allowing for extremely close-focus wide-angle shooting. The WACP can provide various field-of-view options when used with specific zoom lenses.
BUOYANCY COLLAR
An aluminum float collar is integrated into the WACP-1B, bringing the in-water buoyancy to 0.01kg negative.
COMPATIBLE LENSES
The WACP is designed to function at the full-frame equivalent focal length of 28mm. A wide variety of lenses are supported, both primes and zooms, for Nikon, Canon, Sony, and Super35 Cinema Systems. Please check the PORT CHART for supported lenses and suggested configurations, as some lenses will require extension rings or adapters.
