As soon as we heard that Nikon was making a replacement for the wildly popular D300, we knew that we had to get the new Nikon D500 DSLR camera in the water ASAP. Once the first camera came in, we did whatever we could to get it ready for underwater use. We were able to get the Nikon 500 underwater and tested with our favorite wide lens, the Tokina 10-17mm fisheye lens.
