Tioman Island Dive Resort, Tioman Island, Malaysia - April 19-28, 2022
You won’t want to miss this incredible expedition to the stunning Tioman Island. Tioman island is home to some of the healthiest coral reefs in South East Asia. If you want to dive the most beautiful coral gardens in the South China Sea, swim with a huge variety of tropical reef fish, turtles, sharks, cuttlefish and search for nudibranchs in one of the best macro spots in the world, then you should not miss this opportunity to visit Tioman Island of the east coast of Malaysia. Join video/photo pro Ben Lair on this expedition level trip. One of the things that makes this trip unique is that it is a combination of a recreational and technical trip. We truly have something for everyone from experienced wreck divers to the macro image enthusiast divers will get to experience all the best diving of Tioman Island without having to compromise. B&J Diving Center offers full support for all levels of diver’s including CCR divers. If you are certified Technical Diver we have some special excursions to two WWII wrecks (HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales) that were considered pivotal in the war and are famous for their historical significance. Tioman dive resort offers an outstanding resort experience for this isolated island. The resort was completed in 2014 and is a small, but beautiful cozy resort, with just 11 secluded rooms. The resort is located just feet away from the dive center, beach, outdoor bar area, and pool. All the rooms feature air conditioning and have been recently renovated. The perfect place to unwind after your daily dives. The culinary options on the island are nothing short of incredible. Breakfast and lunch are included in the expedition package, but dinner is not as there are many amazing dining opportunities just a short walk from the resort. One thing you will notice is that there are no large vehicles on this part of Tioman Island and everything is accessed by foot on the “main” path. RESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW For this trip, we are offering two different but very compatible options that will allow divers to focus on what they want but still enjoy the comradery of being on a group trip. Our recreational package includes 25 guided boat dives and unlimited shore diving with a ratio of only 4 divers per guide. Our technical divers will be treated to 13 recreational dives (in technical configuration so CCR is supported) and 8 technical dives including 6 dives on the infamous HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales. Both groups will join together at the end of the diving day for meals and to share stories. Also included in the price of the trip is a special, all levels, wreck diving trip to the Gyoshin Maru which was sunk in WWII, and a picnic lunch at an incredible waterfall on the southern part of Tioman Island. Tioman Island will always hold a special place in my heart. It is where I re-fell in love with diving and pushed me down the crash course of where I am now as a technical diving instructor with a passion for the deeper shipwrecks all over the world. The sheer beauty of the island and the kindness of the people will change your view of the world. I still think back on my first trip to Tioman and my heart fills with joy. I am incredibly excited to be able to share this with a select group of divers. This trip is appropriate for divers of all levels and there really is something for everyone.
