The RECON has the familiar Equinox cylindrical design and can be used on land, in water and in the air if you so choose. The RECON is a splash housing with a depth rating of 30ft (10m) and provides the recreational shooter with a professionally manufactured housing at a wallet-friendly price. The RECON is not camera specific and therefore will accommodate any standard consumer camcorder. If you switch camcorders later down the road, you will not need to upgrade your housing, simply adjust the record start/stop lever and away you go.
