Backscatter M16 Dual Optical Bulkhead Adapter for Smart Control Flash Triggers
Choose Your Configuration
The Backscatter Smart Control Optical TTL Flash Trigger is available in different configurations depending on your camera and housing. The universal triggers for Sony and Olympus/OM System are designed to fit into most housings and can use either single or dual LED trigger lights. The dual LED trigger lights are perfect for housings that accept LEDs in built-in optical ports or when used with the included foam blocks on a clear housing window. The single LED Trigger Light can be used with the optional bulkhead for a more direct fit. Utilizing built in LED trigger lights, the Nauticam Sony Trigger is custom designed for an exact fit in Nauticam full-frame Sony housings.Installing the Backscatter Smart Control Optical TTL Flash Trigger
The universal type TTL trigger fits in most housings.
Universal Olympus/OM System and Sony Trigger Installation
If you have a housing with optical ports that accepts LEDs, insert the LED leads into the optical ports, then attach the trigger to the hot shoe of the camera. For housings that have a clear window, you will need to use the foam blocks in order to secure the LEDs. Line up the foam blocks on the inside of the window, opposite of the fiber optic ports, then, remove the adhesive cover and press into place. The LED trigger lights can then be plugged directly into the foam block. For a more custom fit, you can use the optional M16 Dual Optical Bulkhead. This is a direct fit using the universal trigger and is a great option for housings with an available M16 threaded bulkhead. To use the bulkhead, simply install it on one of your housing’s M16 bulkheads, and plug the LED into place from within the housing
