The Ninja TX 5″ Monitor-Recorder joins the legendary Ninja lineup — quieter, cooler, more powerful, more connected, and more advanced than ever.
Ninja TX combines SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, supports up to 8Kp30 Apple ProRes/RAW recording to ultra-fast CFexpress or external USB media, provides camera control on supported cameras, and offers a full suite of professional monitoring tools. It features built-in camera-to-cloud with free ATOMOSphere membership, supports NDI 6 streaming, and runs on the lightning-fast AtomOS Linux platform. No other monitor-recorder packs so much performance and compatibility into such a compact, connected device.
Camera control
Using intuitive on-screen sliders, you can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Control is available for most Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras via USB-C, and for all Z CAM E2 series models (LANC cable required; purchased separately).Touch to focus

Comprehensive Color and Metadata
The Ninja TX supports select Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon log formats. Upload custom 3D LUTs to the monitor and output HDR conversion to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision formats.12G-SDI and HDMI Input/Output
HDMI input supports 8K video at up to 30 fps, 4K60, and 1080p120. Loop-through passes the incoming HDMI signal from the camera to another device, such as an external monitor, a wireless transmitter, or a live streaming encoder. The addition of 12G-SDI enables a wider range of cameras and production workflows, and the SDI ports also support loop-through. The monitor also supports cross-conversion between HDMI and 12G-SDI, and between 12G-SDI and HDMI.Via the HDMI input, you can record raw metadata such as white balance, exposure index, shutter speed/angle, iris F-stop, ISO, gamma, and gamut.
Recording & Media Options
The Ninja TX now includes a CFexpress Type B slot and dual USB-C recording outputs supporting fast data transfer to external USB media. The optionality is designed for scalability and futureproofing. In addition to recording directly to storage, the USB-C ports can also be used for uploading custom 3D LUTs and for audio devices.Professional Monitoring Tools
The Ninja TX offers an expansive suite of easy to use, one-touch monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebras, false color (including ARRI and EL Zone), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support with profile and preset options (including .cube file uploads). It also provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring to correct the ratio for anamorphic lens setups.Power Options
The Ninja TX supports NP-F L-series batteries on the back. Alternatively, a battery eliminator can be used to provide DC power to the monitor, or a USB-C port supports 30W PD power delivery with the included cable.Unique cable locking system

Adding a tally light to the Ninja TX is a simple yet powerful update, especially useful in live production setups. A tally light provides a clear visual indicator of when the camera is recording or broadcasting. When Ninja TX is recording, the light automatically turns red (live/on-air).
