Ninja Assassin extends the Atomos Ninja line up in to the realm of 4K UHD and 1080 60p. Combining professional 4K-UHD/HD recording, 7" 1920x1080 monitoring, advanced playback and editing in a compact, lightweight, affordable add-on to existing DSLR, Mirrorless and HDMI cameras.

UNLEASH YOUR CAMLERA'S HDMI

The HDMI output is the key to unleashing your cameras capability, recording pristine footage directly from the camera's sensor to visually lossless Hollywood quality Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR codecs.

MONITOR & RECORD AUDIO AS WELL

Up to 8 channels of audio over HDMI or analog audio over the additional 3.5mm input allows connectivity from analog mixers or microphones locked frame accurately to your video.

ASSASSINATE MPEG LIMITATIONS

Bypass the highly compressed internal MPEG / h.264 compression from the camera increasing color accuracy (with 4:2:2 color sampling) and color resolution with 10-bit color (1 Billion Colors). The edit ready Apple ProRes or AVID DNxHR video files created by Ninja Assassin are visually lossless with each frame being captured in full resolution (I frame recording) just like film.

• Go back in time with Pre-Roll cache recording, up to 8 seconds of HD or 2-3 seconds of 4K-UHD so youll never miss that shot.
• Video Time-lapse gives enormous creative license with up to 10 different sequences, speed ramp and scheduled start and end times over 24 hrs.

The class leading 7" SuperAtom IPS calibrated monitor provides a range of easy to use professional monitoring tools on a high resolution (1920 x 1080) high pixel density (325ppi) screen to ensure perfect shot setup every time.

EXPOSURE

Waveform and RGB parade give you in-depth image analyses, mapping exposure across the modified image. The graph can be moved to 3 locations and transparency adjusted depending on the footage being captured.

FOCUS PEAING

Focus peaking function will reveal when your image is in focus with 3 modes available depending on the image you are focusing. Additionally 1:1 and 2:1 zoom lets you smoothly pan and scan the image and get close in for critical focus.

3D LUTS

3D LUT's allow you to create a specific signature look or even recreate classic film stock instantly, with 50/50 3D/Normal split view; you can compare effects and make creative decisions on the fly.

LIGHTWEIGHT

Weighing in at only 430g (15oz) the Ninja Assassin is a compact lightweight addition to any DSLR, gimbal or drone application. The rigid ABS polycarbonate structure is further protected by the included Armor Bumper making the Ninja Assassin the ideal go-anywhere monitor-recorder solution.

PLAYBACK & REVIEW

Instantly review recorded content on screen or out to a larger monitor. 4K recordings can be downscaled to allow connection to HD monitors and you can even create a playlist of favorite clips for simplified client review.

EDIT & TAG ON THE FLY

Make edit decisions on the fly and in review with a choice of 10 tags. You can start to mark clips while you record and the review, cut and tag in playback mode.

PIPELINE IN YOUR TIMELINE

Marked in and out outs are carried right through to your edit in your favorite NLE. Simply dock and drop to your Mac or PC, and start editing immediately in Apple, Avid, Adobe and other NLE's.
