Itís built to mate with a companion strobe, the new YS-20A. The MX-5 II features a high quality wide-angle 28mm f/9 focus free glass lens, automatic film advance and rewind, an LCD window with frame counter, and a pop-up sports finder that doubles as a lens protector. This package includes the YS-20A strobe as well. The strobe will light up your pictures with color. Designed specifically for the MX-5 II, the strobe is light weight, cordless and fully automatic. Infrared optical triggering synchronizes the strobe with the camera shutter. A built-in sensor controls strobe output so you get the right light for crisp pictures and brilliant color.
