Our favorite point and shoot underwater camera systems

It seems like everyone from Walmart to Maceys has a waterproof digital camera to offer these days. Here at Backscatter we make great efforts to stay on top of all point and shoot systems and evaluate them based on image quality and ease of use... underwater! We most likely have a housing in stock for a camera you already own, but we highly recommend you compare your camera to these newer models. It might make more sense to choose a new camera when making an investment on a housing and strobe. Below you'll find our current favorite point and shoot systems for underwater photography. We select this group of point and shoot systems based on performance and user growth potential. We've excluded any underwater systems that have poor reliability or poor image quality.
