New for 2010 Sony has significantly increased the field of view of its XR550 and CX550 camcorders. This wide lens also works with the Canon XA10 and HF S30 Cameras.

Light and Motion and Fathom optics have worked closely with Sony to characterize this new optic and develop an all new Wide Angle Zoom through 90 degree port to get the most out of the new Sony and Canon XA10 and HF G10 Cameras.

All the Fathom optics have exceptional sharpness and resolution. They are assembled and tested in the US and are guaranteed by the manufacturer. A 90 degree wide angle optic is a great all around lens that can shoot seahorses to most big pelagic fish and mammals.
