Black & White Portfolio Presentation
Saturday, March 7, 10:00AM - 10:45AM


Berkley White will share his latest black and white portfolio of underwater images from around the globe. Most divers know the sea as a rainbow of colors, but the black and white images of Berkley White share a new world of inky black and shades of gray. Berkley will also share his top 5 tips for shooting black and white images with color digital cameras.

Digital Underwater Macro Photography
Saturday, March 7, 1:00PM - 4:00PM


Berkley White and Ethan Gordon. This seminar will cover introductory through advanced concepts of digital underwater macro (close up) photography. Skills covered will include: focus tips, proper exposure, strobe power and positioning, ways to improve your diving skills that will help you take better images, and equipment specific to shooting macro. A detailed handout will be presented in class.

Cost: $125 ($100 if signed up for wide angle workshop)




Digital Underwater Wide Angle Photography
Sunday, March 8, 9:00AM - 12:00PM


Berkley White and Ethan Gordon. This seminar will cover introductory through advanced concepts of digital underwater wide-angle photography. Skills covered will include: composition and planning your shot, perfecting exposures with histograms, strobe exposure with both manual and TTL, how to effectively use auto camera modes like aperture and shutter priority modes, and equipment specific to shooting wide-angle. We will then explore how to use these skills to shoot these specific scenarios: split images, motion blur effects, off camera lighting, working with models, shooting pelagics, and more. A detailed handout will be presented in class.

Cost: $125 ($100 if signed up for macro workshop)
