Manta "White Lightning" fins make white balancing a snap! You just lift one of your fins in front of your camera and presto, you get a nice clean white balance!

The Manta fins are extremely light, A pair of XL White Lightning fins weigh 1.5 to 1.7 pounds depending on fin size chosen.. A single Apollo Bio Fin weighs just over 3 pounds, this not only helps with travel weight restrictions but your kick stroke seems to be effortless.

You wouldn't believe how many pro video shooters spray paint their fins white as a quick white balance slate. Consider these fins the always available underwater white balance card without the mess and fuss of spray paint. Sure, you'll look unique, but you'll always have the fastest white balance setting at any depth without the need of a third arm to hold the slate. These fins also swim well and are a favorite with drysuit divers.

The Manta fins provide a very strong kick with minimal effort and work great for Frog kicks, modified flutter or just sculling around in tight places on the reef. The Manta Fins are short in length (just 19.5 inches) and are excellent for photography allowing you to backwards kick and turn on a dime with minimal effort.

The Manta fins also allow you to be seen in low visibility conditions and almost seem to glow compared to other brightly colored fins. They are priced right at only $99 and we highly recommend you give them a try whether your using your trusty old Jet fins still or one of the new split fins on the market, you won't be disappointed!

The wings of the MANTARAY are designed to add blade surface on the downstroke and reduce resistance on the upstroke. They also improve blade stabilization. This patented design provides increased efficiency for varying styles of kicks. It has been proven to efficiently perform different styles of kicks such as the scissor, flutter, dolphin, forward frog kicks, reverse frog kicks, and bent-leg frog kicks. All with minimum to no silt stir up.

The gills work together with the scoop on the top of the fin to form the patented dual water channeling system. This system delivers more thrust with less effort. The scoop expands and contracts during the kick cycles to create a pump action and channels and focuses the thrust off of the blade tip at the same time. This channeling system also works to stabilize the fin blade so you get the full potential from the blade and there is no wobbling or slicing of the fin in the water during the kick cycle giving the MANTARAY big fin power without the big fin workout. The foot pocket is designed for maximum comfort and energy transfer to the blade. With this dual water channeling system and the right amount of blade flexibility, this improved system saves energy and ultimately air, which helps to extend your bottom time.
